The Rise Program is R House Ministries’ structured GED and workforce advancement initiative designed for women who are ready to move beyond crisis and into long-term independence.
At its core, Rise provides GED preparation classes and academic support for eligible “R” Ladies who have demonstrated stability, consistency, and readiness for growth. Education is a foundational step toward employment, economic mobility, and sustained self-sufficiency — and Rise exists to make that step achievable.
This is not a crisis stabilization program. Rise is the advancement phase of our service model, focused on education, credential attainment, workforce preparation, and measurable progress. Participants in Rise have already overcome significant barriers. They have secured stable housing, maintained recovery compliance when applicable, and achieved individualized case goals. Now, they are prepared to complete their GED, pursue employment opportunities, and transition fully into thriving, independent adulthood.
Rise is where stability turns into opportunity — and opportunity turns into transformation.
