Human trafficking is a local, national, and global issue. Did you know that Ohio is the 6th highest state in the nation for human trafficking and, our great city of Dayton, ranks 4th in the state for human trafficking victims. Ohio has become an attractive target for traffickers for multiple reasons: 1. Ohio has the nations highest number of Truck Stops. It is at these truck stops that vehicles become "human cargo" transporters. 2. Ohio has an extensive and developed highway system. the I-75/I-70 interchange in Vandalia, Ohio provides the infrastructure needed to traffick large numbers of victims discreetly in and out of the city of Dayton. 3. Vulnerability to homelessness. Homelessness leads to hopelessness. R House Ministries partners with great organizations leading the fight against human trafficking to bring about and END!
